The Multi Plus Test Medi Gold Rapid 10-Drug Panel is for the rapid and qualitative detection and identification of ten drugs simultaneously (THC / TML / TCA / MTD / COC / BZO / BUP / MOP / MET / AMP) in urine. It is intended solely for forensic and in vitro diagnostic use. This test operates based on the immunochromatography method. This test is for rapid screening only and provides a preliminary result. A more specific alternative method should be used to confirm initial results; High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is the preferred method for this purpose.

Product Description

The Rapid 10-Drug Test Panel is a medical tool for the rapid, qualitative detection of ten different drug substances or their metabolites simultaneously in urine. This test uses an immunochromatographic method based on competition between drugs present in the sample and antibodies on the panel. The detectable substances include AMP (Amphetamine), MET (Methamphetamine), MOP (Morphine/Opiates), BUP (Buprenorphine), BZO (Benzodiazepines), COC (Cocaine), MTD (Methadone), TCA (Tricyclic Antidepressants), TML (Tramadol), and THC (Cannabis).

Applications of the Rapid 10-Drug Test Panel

This panel is designed for the rapid identification of substance abuse or the use of specific drug substances. It is applicable in addiction treatment centers, workplaces, and medical evaluations. With its ability to test for ten substances simultaneously, this panel is an effective tool for the initial screening of individuals suspected of substance abuse.

It’s used in medical emergency departments or for employment screenings. The Rapid 10-Drug Test Panel can quickly provide essential preliminary information to physicians or specialists

How to Use the Rapid 10-Drug Test Panel

To use this panel, collect a fresh urine sample in a clean container and allow the panel to reach room temperature. Dip the panel into the urine up to the indicated line (MAX). The test results will appear within 5 minutes. The formation of a line in the control region (C) and another line in the test region (T) indicates a negative result. The absence of a line in the test region (T) indicates a positive result. If the control line does not appear, the result is invalid, and the test must be repeated.

Precautions and Contraindications

  • This panel is for in vitro diagnostic use only.
  • Positive results must be confirmed by more precise methods.
  • Samples must be fresh and stored at the appropriate temperature.
  • Incorrect results may appear if the panel is used improperly.
  • Strictly avoid using expired panels.
  • Do not reuse the test panel (they are single-use).
  • The test panel must be kept in its aluminum packaging until use. Use the test panel immediately upon opening the aluminum pouch.
  • Adhere to hygiene principles when performing the test.
  • Interpret results under appropriate lighting conditions to prevent errors in test interpretation. Results read after 10 minutes are invalid.
  • If the aluminum pouch has been stored at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius (refrigerator temperature), allow it to sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes before use.
  • Store the kit at 2 to 30 degrees Celsius, away from humidity and direct sunlight.
